About the position
The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the CVS Store Management team by overseeing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving store performance. This position involves leading the store in the absence of a manager, managing staff, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Communicate effectively with store management and crew members.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, promoting a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
- Price merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
- Support the planning and execution of displays and inventory for promotional and seasonal merchandise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in supervising staff in a retail environment.
- Strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnight, and weekends.
