About the position

The Head of Strategy & Operations at LMRE is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving strategic initiatives within a cutting-edge platform aimed at improving the rental real estate market. This position requires a hands-on approach to streamline operations, build partnerships, and manage critical projects, all while fostering a high-performing team and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is integral to scaling the platform and optimizing performance in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals to scale the platform and expand its market reach.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the platform, ensuring smooth execution across departments, including finance, marketing, product, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business development teams to enhance product offerings, improve operational efficiency, and drive growth.
  • Identify and foster strategic partnerships that will enhance platform capabilities and drive user adoption.
  • Lead key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business objectives, including overseeing product roadmap execution and operational improvements.
  • Analyze business performance data to identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and efficiency across the organization.
  • Help build and mentor a high-performing team as the company continues to scale, shaping company culture and driving employee engagement.
  • Develop and refine processes to ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and platform adoption by landlords and property managers.
  • Work closely with finance teams to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring financial performance metrics are met.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or business development in a startup, technology, real estate, or related field.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong operational background with a track record of optimizing processes and scaling businesses.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment where agility, problem-solving, and resourcefulness are key.
  • Experience in real estate technology, property management, or multifamily housing is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies; ability to lead complex projects from ideation to execution.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships that drive business value.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small, agile team.
