About the position
The Operations Planner at ANSER will focus on Strategic Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) to support the DTRA Strategic Integration Directorate. This role involves providing operations planning and guidance to enhance the DoD's Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) mission, ensuring effective doctrine development and training at various levels within the DoD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine training manuals at the DoD field grade officer level and below.
- Execute all steps of the Joint Doctrine Development Process (JDDP).
- Provide expert input and participate in various DoD Joint Doctrine Planning Conferences and joint technical working groups.
- Maintain currency and subject matter expertise on evolving concepts, processes, and tools for CWMD, CBRN, nuclear operations, and countering WMD emergent threats.
- Engage with the DoD and NATO community of interest to support CWMD mission area doctrine development.
- Review joint doctrine for the integration of CWMD, counter emergent threats, and network engagement topics into the Joint Doctrine Hierarchy.
- Provide advice on changes to the Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) and maintain proficiency in using the UJTL Task Development Tool.
- Provide DoD and Allied Doctrine support in accordance with CJCSM 5120.01B.
- Support DTRA's implementation of the DoD Readiness Reporting System in accordance with DoD Directive 7730.65.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 or more years relevant experience supporting and providing advisory services or operational planning to defense agency programs and directorates
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
