About The Position

The Operations Manager will lead and manage the daily VAS/VAD operation to ensure all customer requirements are executed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements. This role involves planning and overseeing staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, and workload distribution to support operational demands while maintaining productivity and cost efficiency. The manager will drive operational performance and profitability through effective labor management, resource utilization, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Collaboration with warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, and leadership teams is crucial for alignment, communication, and seamless execution of customer requirements. The position requires monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and service levels, taking proactive action to address performance gaps and improve operational results. Providing leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and associates, while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and customer service excellence, is a key responsibility. The role also involves identifying, investigating, and resolving operational challenges, service disruptions, and customer escalations in a timely and effective manner. Ensuring inventory accuracy, reporting compliance, and adherence to customer-specific SOPs, operational procedures, and company policies is essential. The manager will lead continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance, and maintain a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
  • 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.
  • Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.
  • Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.
  • Proficient at MS Office
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.
  • Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping.
  • Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system
  • Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.
