About the position

The Operations Manager in Training is a working manager responsible for learning all aspects of the performance and effective operation of a Mike's location in preparation for a General Manager role. This position focuses on inspiring team members, maximizing profitability, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Mike's Purpose and deliver on our Team Member Promise.
• Satisfy Customers by maintaining acceptable wash quality and professionally handling complaints.
• Develop Management Team through ongoing development and performance appraisals.
• Develop Wash Associates by completing training checklists and ongoing coaching.
• Maximize Location Profitability by increasing profits and minimizing expenses.
• Ensure Operational Excellence by completing OPEX checklists and maintaining staffing.
• Create a Safety Conscious Culture by promoting safety and following discipline processes.
• Attend Ops Meetings to stay updated with company information.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive operational experience including proven ability to lead and develop small teams.
• Ability to hit goals consistently and execute day-to-day upkeep of facilities and/or equipment.
• A degree in an applicable field may be a suitable substitution for operational experience.

Benefits

• Pay starting at $25/hr plus incentives.
