About The Position

This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of Dividend & Bond Payment processing, which includes but is not limited to cash and share event reconciliation, foreign currency processing, clearing account and PROactive reconciliations, escalations, and oversight tasks. The team this role is responsible for managing varying degrees of automation from fully automated (STP) to fully manual processes. The role is also responsible for team and team member development, reward and recognition, and employee development.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience
  • Securities license 7 or 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days)
  • 1+ years demonstrated project team coordination and/or coaching/mentoring leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge related to business lines, business strategy, needs and risk
  • Experience with identifying and implementing process/system changes which reduce risk, increase efficiencies or enrich customer service
  • Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all functions associated with the announcement and processing of all income events to ensure accurate and timely processing while meeting or exceeding department SLAs and service standards
  • Hire and oversee the training of new employees; providing ongoing coaching/feedback, recognition, development and performance management while fostering teamwork and knowledge transfer.
  • Handle escalated issues, provide risk oversight and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance.
  • In conjunction with senior management and department managers, monitor risk associated with department; ensure within the regulatory, firm and RBC frameworks.
  • Establishing and maintain credible, professional relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
