About The Position

The Operations Financial Analyst II position is responsible for supporting financial efficiencies by improving internal processes and validating financial reports for the offset/digital printing and bindery departments. This role requires a strong understanding of print manufacturing workflows, cost accounting fundamentals and accurate accounting level reporting in a fast-paced print production environment. Minimal key tasks also include yearly budget review and forecasting, ERP journal entries, business continuity and information security reviews. Individual must be able to support colleagues of multiple skillset levels who may express or experience difficulty in learning new processes, procedures and new software functionality. Candidates Must live in Metro Atlanta Area to be considered.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a common goal.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard MIS software applications.
  • Experience in print manufacturing workflows and double entry cost accounting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to support staff at all levels.
  • Extended knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, sales tax, and financial forecasting.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity policies and risk management best practices.
  • Must have extensive experience using complex formulas and functionality in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent financial experience
  • 4 - 5 years Accounting & Finance Fundamentals
  • Data Administration Management

  • General Information Technology Common Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance, General Information Technology, Print Manufacturing, MIS Reporting and Data Analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday and/or ePace MIS accounting experience is a plus.
  • Report writing and SQL database management experience is an added plus.

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinize, enhance and monitor key financial data points within the print industry standard software applications to conduct a clear and comprehensive financial reporting overview.
  • Manage financial records and prepare monthly journal entries which support MIS integration to corporate ERP systems.
  • Compile, assist and report all levels of yearly budgeting, financial expense forecasting, and cost analysis to support the financial goals for the print and distribution business.
  • Analyze and optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and scalability within print manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and management teams to drive strategic solutions through data-driven analysis.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of a new industry standard software system, ensuring an improved user experience resulting in financial data integrity/visibility.
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with corporate defined policies, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Validate business units and applications to ensure security compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and risk management practices.
