In the role of Operations Data Analyst at PG&E Corporation, you will be an integral part of the Customer Care department, which is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience. The Customer Operations and Enablement (CO&E) organization is focused on developing a customer-centric operations framework that encompasses the entire "meter to cash" process. This includes critical functions such as meter testing, customer billing, payment processing, credit and collection policy, and the overall rate experience. The Pricing Products organization within CO&E is particularly focused on creating positive customer experiences through a variety of rates and pricing products that empower customers to better understand and manage their energy usage. This role will also involve working with SmartMeter capabilities and integrating them with advanced pricing products and online tools. As an Operations Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to extract and analyze operations data to support leadership and respond to ad hoc data requests. You will maintain and enhance operational metric database tools for the analytics teams, ensuring that data is accurate and accessible. Your role will require you to identify and address gaps in data requirements, facilitating quick and consistent responses to leadership inquiries. This position is hybrid, allowing you to work remotely and in the Oakland office approximately 1 to 2 days per week, depending on business needs. You will collaborate with Directors and Managers across various functions to influence decision-making processes. Your expertise in data processing and analysis will be crucial as you manage complex data extracts and ensure their accuracy from the initial request to the presentation of results. You will analyze data using advanced statistical tools to develop complex reports and identify trends, which will inform critical business decisions. Additionally, you will create automated data routines for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and cleansing. Your organizational skills will be essential in developing a comprehensive data dictionary and standardizing the intake process for data requests.
