About the position

The position focuses on optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness for clients at PwC. The role involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions. The individual will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization, while also building meaningful client connections and managing team dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.
  • Develop strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and supplier relationship management.
  • Support clients in navigating complex procurement processes and drive cost savings.
  • Oversee junior staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their development and success on engagements.
  • Lead project management activities including work plan development and status meetings.
  • Communicate insights based on qualitative and quantitative data sets to support recommendations.
  • Facilitate working sessions with client leads to define business requirements and design leading practice solutions.
  • Coordinate with Change Management teams during system deployment activities, including training and communications.
  • Oversee hypercare activities and provide recommendations to address unexpected post-go-live issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and procurement or related fields.
  • Master's degree preferred, particularly an MBA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management modules of GEP.
  • Understanding of system architecture and benefits of different ERP systems and their connectivity with GEP.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and develop presentations for leadership level clients.
