About the position

At PwC, the role in sourcing and procurement focuses on optimizing processes to drive cost savings, enhance supplier collaboration, and improve supply chain resilience. The position involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions. The individual will build meaningful client connections, manage teams, and navigate complex situations while delivering quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.
  • Develop strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and supplier relationship management.
  • Support clients in navigating complex procurement challenges and drive business performance.
  • Oversee junior staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their development and success on engagements.
  • Communicate insights based on qualitative and quantitative data sets to support recommendations.
  • Facilitate working sessions with client leads to define business requirements and design leading practice solutions.
  • Coordinate with Change Management teams during system deployment activities, including training and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and procurement or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management activities and oversee junior staff.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement leading practices and ability to communicate at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Experience in Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management modules of GEP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree, preferably an MBA.
  • Experience with CLM-A, Risk modules, GEP Pay, and GEP Expenses.
  • Understanding of system architecture and benefits of different ERP systems and their connectivity with GEP.
