Operations Optimization and Enablement (OOE) is a newly formed team at Citi designed to drive change and implement Operations strategy. The team is pivotal in leading the Citi transformation agenda by rapidly scaling programs of work that will redefine core operations architecture and the processes they support. A key initiative within OOE is the Strategic Ledger Program, which aims to implement a new global financial accounting and general ledger platform that provides a daily ledger for every legal entity. This program seeks to consolidate approximately 250 accounting engines into 10-20 accounting hubs, establishing a single global Ledger operating model and automating end-to-end business processes through Oracle. The transition involves migrating from around 100 ledgers and ledger standards to a unified Citi ledger design template, initially rolled out in the CBNA London Branch and subsequently expanding to EMEA, Asia, LATAM, and NAM. The program is expected to run through to the end of 2030. The OOE team will play a crucial role in defining, establishing, and implementing best-in-class operational capabilities aligned with the future state architecture, particularly focusing on an intraday cash subledger that will cater to both internal and client cash requirements. This position requires a strategic mindset to build capabilities, drive data analytics initiatives, and foster collaboration with business stakeholders to leverage data for informed decision-making. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement, requiring the individual to regularly assess and optimize processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and impact.
