About The Position

As the Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the cost accounting and general ledger functions for assigned manufacturing plants. The position will act as the liaison between the plants and the HQ finance organization for cost controlling and financial reporting. This role requires candidates to reside within a commutable distance to St. Louis, MO, as relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently to successfully complete assignments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to St. Louis, MO

Nice To Haves

  • R3 SAP experience in FI and CO is highly desired
  • SOX audit experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare plant financial budgeting/forecasting reports
  • Perform monthly closing and variance analysis
  • Ensure consistency between plants for cost expense categorization
  • Issue monthly financial KPI’s for plant cost controlling
  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
  • Develop product cost standards
  • Prepare financial data for internal/external auditors
  • Support SOX controls for areas of responsibility
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
