About The Position

Haleon is a manufacturing site for liquid, solid, and semi-solid health products, with complex regulatory factors, technical processes, and high-risk activities. Haleon is currently looking for a Rotating Shift Manufacturing Operator to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. As a Rotating Shift Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing various dosage forms in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as site procedures. You will participate in the different stages of the production process (weighing, granulation, mixing, compression, encapsulation, coating, and inspection), while ensuring quality, safety, and operational performance, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and your work environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in French is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and quality standards
  • Good physical capacity for work in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in industrial equipment cleaning

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning of rooms, equipment, parts, and work areas
  • Dismantle, clean, and assemble equipment according to established procedures
  • Verify the condition and cleanliness of equipment and parts
  • Perform the setup of certain production equipment
  • Perform room or section clearances
  • Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks
  • Adequately document activities (manufacturing sheet, logs, charts)
  • Perform printing and/or inspection of tablets or capsules
  • Participate in preventive maintenance (TPM) and polishing of certain tools
  • Manage waste and ensure its proper disposal
  • Handle materials (powders, tablets, equipment)
  • Verify raw materials and maintain required inventories
  • Participate in sanitation activities and basic reconciliations
  • Identify problems and propose solutions
  • Collaborate with the team and participate in continuous improvement activities
