About the position
RealManage is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position requires approximately 20 hours of work per week and involves a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily inspections of the grounds, cleaning and organizing various areas, and maintaining a list of supplies needed for purchase. The role also includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance tasks, as well as other work-related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all grounds and remove dead vegetation
- Check and empty trash as needed in clubhouse, bathrooms, pool, gazebo, and dock
- Inspect and clean the pool area
- Inspect bathrooms and resupply paper products/soap
- Maintain a list of supplies for purchase
- Check with manager for work orders, special projects, or instructions
- Check golf cart batteries and fill with distilled water as needed
- Mop clubhouse and bathroom floors and disinfect surfaces
- Clean toilets and check pool grill for cleanliness and propane
- Wipe clubhouse deck furniture and rake beach
- Clean and organize furniture on Fridays
- Blow, rake, and remove leaves seasonally
- Remove vines and weed flower beds and drainage areas
- Clean clubhouse glass doors and sliding door tracks monthly
- Pressure wash fishing dock quarterly
- Pressure wash driveways annually
- Clean road swales and storm drain grates as needed
- Replace sprinkler heads and hand water grass/plants as needed
- Touch up paint/stain and maintain drainage structures
- Keep shed clean and organized
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing, and Painting required
- Experience with Cleaning, Locks, and Gutters highly desired
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual a plus
- Must be a proficient problem-solver
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, and chemicals safely
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus
- Pool maintenance experience is a plus
Benefits
- Competitive pay of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
