About the position

As an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, you will be responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner, ensuring attention to freshness and quality. Your duties will include assembling customers' online orders, processing coupons and payments, and delivering and loading orders into customers' cars upon their arrival at the store for pick-up. You will also provide a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return to online shopping. This role requires you to demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen for orders.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report any items in need of repair to management.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
