About the position

The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with a focus on efficiency, freshness, and quality. This role involves assembling orders, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience. The position is integral to the e-commerce team, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and promptly while adhering to company values and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival for pick-up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and food safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
