About the position
A comprehensive Oncology group in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their cancer care team. This full-time, permanent position offers a 4-day work week with a 1:4 call rotation in a clinic setting, providing on-site infusion, lab, and pharmacy services. The role is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and is located in an area known for its affordability and excellent schools.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an oncology clinic setting.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient education and support.
- Manage follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Experience in oncology or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
