About The Position

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Alameda County. This is an on-call position offering flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability. At ComForCare Home Care, we know exceptional care starts with exceptional caregivers. Requirements

• On-call and as-needed
• Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or ability to obtain registration before hire
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate service documentation
