About the position

The Office Supervisor for Orthopedics is responsible for managing the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of an urgent care location. This role involves overseeing team members, ensuring a patient-centric experience, and supporting the overall functions of the site. The supervisor will work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain site performance, manage staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of the urgent care site, including patient flow and registration processes.
• Assist the Practice Manager in preparing staff schedules and ordering medical supplies.
• Open and close the site as required, ensuring operational readiness.
• Build strong communication with providers and enhance team success through collaboration.
• Ensure staff professionalism and manage employee performance, including coaching and development.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and interact courteously with patients and families at discharge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in management or business preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience required, or a degree in management.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Exceptional communication skills and comfort in delivering constructive feedback.
• Bilingual language skills preferred based on site location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in urgent care settings.
