About the position

Veteran Plumbing Service Inc. is seeking a motivated and friendly Office Assistant to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service to clients in the Sewickley area.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for our plumbing technicians.
  • Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed.
  • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and send out invoices and other correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office environment, preferably with similar responsibilities.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred).
