About The Position

The Office Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the home care agency, ensuring compliance with all regulations, delivering quality client care, and leading a team of caregivers and administrative staff. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 1 year of management experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of home care regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scheduling systems, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Wellsky preferred).
  • Proven ability to multitask, delegate, and manage crises.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee and manage agency policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Manage critical functions including scheduling and seamless client service delivery.
  • Oversee full staff lifecycle, from recruitment and training to supervision and performance evaluations for both field staff and administrative teams.
  • Ensure adequate caregiver coverage and expertly manage call-outs and emergencies.
  • Drive client satisfaction through comprehensive intake, individualized care planning, being the main client contact, and resolving concerns.
  • Maintain meticulous records and conduct regular audits for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Prepare for and respond to all licensing inspections while continually monitoring key performance metrics.
