About the position
Seeking dedicated people with the desire to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality and safety standards. Operate various sizes and types of off road haul trucks. Assist with maintenance in the quarry. Perform a pre-shift inspection, minor maintenance, and repairs on the haul truck. Hours of operation are determined by customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Operate various sizes and types of off road haul trucks.
- Assist with maintenance in the quarry.
- Perform a pre-shift inspection on the haul truck.
- Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on the haul truck.
Requirements
- Over 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Complete and pass pre-employment testing, including a drug screen and physical.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Ability to read all operating instructions.
- Capable of working outside in all weather conditions and at elevated areas.
- Experience with a variety of hand tools.
- Exposure to high levels of dust & noise; ability to walk, climb, grasp, stand, balance.
