About the position
Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced attorney to join its litigation team in San Diego, with options to work from Torrance or Downtown Los Angeles. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team within an AmLaw65 law firm, focusing on complex civil and commercial litigation, including products liability defense and class action litigation.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of trial lawyers and litigators specializing in complex litigation, products liability defense, and class action litigation.
- Draft and prepare pleadings and discovery documents.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
- Manage document production and case management.
- Argue discovery and other motions in court.
Requirements
- At least 8+ years of meaningful litigation experience in complex litigation, class action, and products liability.
- Strong skills in drafting pleadings and discovery documents.
- Ability to prepare for and conduct depositions.
- Experience in managing document production and case management.
- Outstanding written and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent academic credentials and admission to the California Bar.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in pharmaceuticals and medical devices litigation.
- Familiarity with the Song-Beverly Act.
