About The Position

LEARN Academy/Creative Learning Center is hiring for a full-time Occupational Therapist in Redwood City, CA for immediate start! LEARN Academy/Creative Learning Center (LEARN Academy® School Support Services and Education Network (thelearnacademy.com)), is a state-certified, K-12 private day school in California for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurological disorders. Our comprehensive services — available across the South Bay, Peninsula, and San Francisco Bay Area — are designed to meet the unique needs of the whole student. We are a division of the LEARN Academy, a national leader in special education, academic intervention, and behavioral services for autism. LEARN Academy/Creative Learning Center is a certified NPA and in network with insurance companies enabling us to service students privately in our clinical setting with Behavioral ABA, SLP, OT, and Social Skills Development. The OT position requires working in a 1:1 setting and small group settings with children with Autism and other similar disorders. Sessions take place in a 1:1 clinic setting, and in our inclusion preschool. LEARN Academy/Creative Learning Center is looking for an outstanding Occupational Therapist to work with children in a clinic setting and become a valuable member of our national team of special education providers!

Requirements

• Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Passed the NBCOT
• Maintain CA license per AOTA requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with students with Autism is preferred, but not required
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
