About the position

The Occupational Therapist at Evergreen at Ely, LLC is responsible for evaluating patients' physical and mental abilities, analyzing medical data, and developing rehabilitation goals. The role involves planning and conducting occupational therapy programs to assist patients in adjusting to their impairments due to illness, injury, or psychological issues. The therapist will also maintain necessary records and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to coordinate therapy activities.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities.
• Analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
• Help rehabilitate patients impaired due to illness, injury, or psychological issues.
• Plan and implement programs and social activities for patient adjustment.
• Complete and maintain necessary records.
• Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs.

Requirements

• Currently licensed by the State of Nevada or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Prefer at least one year experience as an OT.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Possess good communication and patient relations skills.
• Sufficient ability to perform job duties.
