Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital is opening May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 36 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology. The Occupational Therapist independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, and delivers or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged skill or ability impairments. The goal is to maximize function in activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. This role also addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures are used to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.
