About the position
As an outpatient Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and activities of daily living. This role emphasizes effective communication and education for patients, family members, and caregivers, ensuring they are equipped to assist with daily routines. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide the best evidence-based practices for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to exceed their functional outcome
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
- State Licensure in occupational therapy
- Registered with NBCOT
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
