Responsibilities
- Provide and document therapeutic plans of care
- Meet with teacher to suggest modifications to adaptive equipment or activities, as necessary
- Liaise with student's families and other services to plan for the student's transition
- Observe, note, and report on the progress of short and long-term treatment goals, including collecting data and reporting on progress goals
- Carry out client's IEP goals and objectives in all relevant training environments including school, community and vocational settings
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Assistant-level license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
- One year experience as an OTA preferably working with children, adolescents, and young adults
- Knowledge of principles and techniques in the assessment and treatment of patient care and safety
- Valid California Driver's License and Clean California DMV record required
- TB Clearance
- DOJ Background check clearance
