About the position
Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for locum tenens coverage in Maine. The role involves providing typical OB/GYN services, including performing C-sections in the operating room, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with credentialing and licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
- Perform C-sections and other surgical procedures as needed.
- Manage an average of 14 to 17 patients per day.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Complete necessary credentialing and licensing processes.
Requirements
- Active state medical license in Maine.
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC required).
- Current DEA registration.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
