Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) American Hearth Association (AHA) required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a Program in Surgical Technology preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
• Provides care to obstetrical patients by functioning as a member of the surgical team, performing scrub duties.
• Provides support to the unit by performing clerical, stocking, and transporting services when not functioning as a member of the surgical team.
• Responsible for patient registration. Answers call lights, telephones, and relays messages to appropriate personnel.
