As a Retail Store Manager with PetSmart, you'll oversee all aspects of our retail store-from head to tail. From hiring & training knowledgeable associates to executing on strategic merchandising initiatives, you'll set the standard of success within our stores. Responsibilities
- Lead the operations of the retail store.
- Hire and train knowledgeable associates.
- Execute strategic merchandising initiatives.
- Drive sales and traffic targets.
- Oversee customer engagement and ensure a safe environment for pets.
- Manage merchandising and inventory teams.
- Support associate leadership and development.
- Collaborate with grooming and hotel services for business success.
Requirements
- Passion for animals and extensive knowledge of pet products.
- Experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to drive sales and meet performance targets.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in opening new stores or turning around struggling stores.
- Desire to grow into higher management positions such as District Leader or Regional Director.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $67,000 to $113,000.
- Eligibility for benefits as described on the PetSmart benefits website.
