Responsibilities
- Educate patients on dining services programs and their prescribed diets.
- Serve as the first point of contact for patient food service complaints and resolve issues.
- Communicate important dietary information to nursing and interprofessional staff.
- Assist patients with menu selection and meal ordering using computerized software.
- Deliver meals and ensure patient satisfaction with food service.
- Conduct quality assurance projects and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Manage inventory of condiments and patient menus to reduce waste.
- Make recommendations for improving patient satisfaction scores.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- One year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Food Handlers Permit from an accredited training course.
