About the position

The position involves providing assistance to residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The role requires a compassionate individual who can support residents in various personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. The assistant will also engage with residents in activities and meal preparation, fostering a supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with bathing, including washing, dressing, and grooming residents
• Manages personal laundry, including washing, drying, and folding clothes
• Reminds residents of medication schedules and assists with taking medication as needed
• Assists residents with dressing and grooming, including using adaptive equipment as needed
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside as needed
• Assists with meal preparation and clean up as needed
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
