About the position
The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. This role involves overseeing all members of the nursing staff during the assigned shift and ensuring that patient care standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Clinical supervision of patient care.
- Represent hospital management on the assigned shift.
- Ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Supervise all members of nursing staff on assigned shift.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least five years of clinical experience.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in NJ.
- CPR certification as per Hospital policy.
- IV certification as per Hospital policy.
- ACLS required (or within 6 months of employment).
Nice-to-haves
- Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Masters preferred.
- Certification in Nursing Administration preferred.
