This position is for a Registered Nurse looking for a change of pace or to make a difference in people's lives. NFI North is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 12 Bed- Residential Treatment and Day Program located in Bradford, New Hampshire. This program specializes in providing Transitional Housing Serves (THS) for adults living with severe and persistent Mental Illness. The THS Bradford Community Residential Program augments our existing continuum of care due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent home-like living.

Requirements

  • Degree from accredited School of Nursing
  • NH RN License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the program population is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the psychiatrist and medical team with the planning and implementation of medical and psychiatric nursing care for program participants.
  • Providing direct medical and psychiatric nursing care.
  • Medical assessment of program participants.
  • Medical documentation and record keeping.
  • Medication administration.
  • Managing the program’s medical supplies.
  • Minimal on-call responsibilities to answer medical type questions after hours as needed.
  • Being a CPR/First Aid Trainer or willing to be trained.
