About the position
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary medical group in Killeen, TX. This full-time role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will focus on achieving the best outcomes for patients, particularly in joint injections and orthopedics, while working closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient exams and evaluations including HPI, physical exams, and medical history.
- Order and review diagnostic imaging and labs.
- Develop diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as injections and therapies.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and pre/post care instructions.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Refer patients to other providers as necessary.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Experience in a Pain Management setting preferred but not mandatory.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with joint injections and orthopedics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
