About the position
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. If you enjoy working with people and believe in warm, compassionate health care, you could be our next Nurse Practitioner in General Surgery. In this role, you will deliver direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment and technical procedures to a specific group of patients, as well as provide health education, referrals to other disciplines, and consultation with other allied health personnel. We are looking for someone dedicated and experienced, with excellent care and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i.
Responsibilities

- Consult with other allied health personnel.
Requirements
- Current Hawaii RN License.
- Current Hawaii APRN License.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Two (2) years of experience in nursing area of specialty.
Nice-to-haves
- Completion of a nurse practitioner program.
- One (1) year advanced practical experience.
- Teaching and/or public speaking experience.
