About the position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join an established OB/GYN practice in Dallas, Georgia. This position is full-time and primarily outpatient, focusing on gynecological care. The role is designed for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality care to women at various stages of life. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance with no weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities. As part of Wellstar, a nationally ranked healthcare system, the Nurse Practitioner will be part of a team that prioritizes patient-centered care and community health. The practice is well-supported by a network of over 24,000 healthcare professionals and state-of-the-art facilities, including hospitals, medical offices, and specialized care centers. The ideal candidate will have a current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider and preferably prior experience in Women's Health, although new graduates will also be considered. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive gynecological care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (APRN/WHNP).
  • Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health is preferred.
  • New graduates will be considered for this position.
