About the position
The Utah County Office of Human Resource Management is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Children's Justice Center (CJC). This is a time-limited position with no benefits, offering an hourly wage of $50.18. The work schedule requires on-call availability from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., including weekends and holidays, with a call schedule of one week every one to two months. Under the general supervision of the Director of the CJC, the Nurse Practitioner will perform professional duties that require specialized knowledge in conducting examinations related to evidentiary child physical abuse, sexual abuse, and/or neglect.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current State of Utah Nurse Practitioner license, Temporary Nurse Practitioner license, or an out-of-state Nurse Practitioner license recognized through interstate compact legislation. Temporary or out-of-state license holders must obtain a State of Utah Nurse Practitioner license within the first six months of employment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
