About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology to join an established multispecialty practice in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in a supportive outpatient setting. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, offering a stable and predictable work week. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Must be Board Certified.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Proficient in cardiovascular assessment, diagnostic testing interpretation (EKG, echocardiograms, stress tests), medication management, and electronic health records.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and cardiac evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiology conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, including EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, and echocardiograms.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, medication adherence, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with practice standards.
