About The Position

Saint Luke's North is seeking a Nurse Manager for their inpatient and outpatient Wound Care Clinic. This role will also handle infusion and vascular access. The position will have overall responsibility in the management of The IP & OP Wound Care Clinic, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Infusion Clinic & PICC Nurses. The Nurse Manager models SLHS Leadership Competencies and core values including professionalism, innovation, adaptability, independent judgment, and solid decision-making skills. They are accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of care provided on patient care units, consistent with the strategic plan for Patient Centered Care. This role works in collaboration with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes, and supports optimal care requiring specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills based on psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences utilizing nursing processes. The Nurse Manager drives employee engagement and retention and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient-centered and healing environment. They maintain all clinical competencies if required due to unit size and structure and may occasionally be counted in staffing.

Requirements

  • RN required
  • BLS required
  • 2 years applicable experience required
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Associate Degree - Science in Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior wound care experience strongly preferred
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Wound Care procedures & HBO preferred

Responsibilities
