About The Position

Saint Luke's North is seeking a Nurse Manager for their inpatient and outpatient Wound Care Clinic. This role will also handle infusion and vascular access. The position will have overall responsibility in the management of The IP & OP Wound Care Clinic, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Infusion Clinic & PICC Nurses. A working knowledge of Wound Care procedures & HBO is preferred. The Nurse Manager models the SLHS Leadership Competencies and core values including professionalism, innovation, adaptability, independent judgment, and solid decision-making skills. This role is accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the care provided on the patient care units consistent with the established strategic plan, goals, and objectives for Patient Centered Care. The Nurse Manager works in collaboration with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes. This role supports optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes. The Nurse Manager drives employee engagement and retention and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient-centered and healing environment. The Nurse Manager maintains all clinical competencies if required due to the size and structure of the unit and may occasionally be counted in staffing.

Requirements

  • RN required
  • BLS required
  • 2 years applicable experience required
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior wound care experience strongly preferred
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of Wound Care procedures & HBO preferred.
