About the position
The Nurse Manager for Inpatient Addiction Treatment is a leadership role focused on overseeing the care of patients suffering from Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health issues in a residential treatment facility. This position involves managing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with a dedicated team to promote recovery and resilience among patients. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing and will have the opportunity for internal career growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the nursing staff in the inpatient addiction treatment facility.
- Ensure high-quality patient care for individuals with Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health issues.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to implement treatment protocols and policies.
- Manage scheduling and staffing for nursing shifts.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
- 1+ years of leadership or management experience in Psych, Behavioral Health, Acute Psych, Mental Health, or Substance Abuse settings.
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry or addiction medicine.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a residential treatment facility.
- Knowledge of local healthcare facilities and resources.
