The Nurse Manager + Infusion Nurse position at BrightStar Care is a vital role focused on delivering high-quality in-home care, particularly in infusion therapy. This position combines hands-on nursing responsibilities with management duties, including training and supervising nursing staff. Responsibilities
- Ensure clients receive high-quality care in a home setting.
- Manage home care case management, including training and supervising caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs.
- Complete start of care and reassessments for patients.
- Conduct patient visits for clinical trials, infusions, injections, wound care, and hospital in-home visits.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
- Document patient care electronically and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license in Missouri.
- Strong IV skills and comfort working in a home setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in electronic documentation and time management.
- Experience in people management and training.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home care or infusion nursing.
- Previous management experience in a healthcare setting.
