About the position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radioactive isotopes to produce high-quality images for physicians, aiding in disease diagnosis. This role requires proficiency in various imaging technologies and adherence to safety guidelines, ensuring optimal patient care and effective communication within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for imaging procedures.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines for patients and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and support personnel.
  • Maintain flexibility to work at various locations and shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure efficient patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Board certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT).
  • Current state licensure as required.
  • BLS certified.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.
  • Additional certifications as determined by Radiology leadership.
