About the position

Assigned to NS&E BPC Construction Functional organization as a Construction Coordinator. In this role, you will manage and execute processes for the deployment of the digital delivery program for nuclear projects. You will administer and populate the portfolio of construction automation applications (Bechtel Standard Applications) and data requirements. This position will initially be full-time telework but is expected that it will eventually be assigned to a nuclear project and relocate to the site to a full-time in person position.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates into GBU functional team and work with Corporate Automation Team to deploy Bechtel Standard Applications.
  • Works with Construction Automation Team to support digital execution.
  • Supports the digitalization and conversion of NWPP, SWPP, and Core Process forms for integration into the BSAP and deployment to the projects.
  • Contributes to construction related digital delivery decisions by providing construction's perspective for the deployment and functionality of BSAP.
  • Maintains/develops enterprise-wide processes and procedures.
  • Ensures effective implementation of Quality Management System.
  • Promotes development of enterprise applications.
  • Contributes to proposal efforts.
  • Ensures accuracy and adherence to specific formats and standards reformatting documents to meet specific client and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiar with Bechtel Standard Applications utilized by the construction team.
  • Familiar with Smart Completions.
  • Knowledge of Advance Work Package (AWP) program, Installation Work Package (IWP) process, Inspection Test Records (ITR), Data Sheets, and other required construction forms.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel Standard Applications functionality.
  • Prior experience as a Field Engineer preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel SWPP, NWPP, and Core Processes.
  • Knowledge and experience of DOE, DOD, NQA-1 and/or commercial nuclear construction projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of SQL Server, including database view and procedure creation, Power BI, and SSRS report development.
  • Knowledge of electronic document conversion from physical documents into digital formats.
  • Candidate should have the ability to work within tight schedules and diverse document types ensuring the accuracy and completeness of converted documents.
