About the position
The Urology NP/PA Fellowship Program is a one-year full-time program designed to prepare Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) for advanced practice in Urology. The fellowship focuses on multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex urology patients, providing fellows with comprehensive exposure through various rotations in clinical and didactic settings.
Responsibilities
- Complete rotations through outpatient clinics, surgery, and inpatient services.
- Participate in clinical and didactic components of the fellowship.
- Cultivate specialized knowledge in Urology through hands-on experience.
- Engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Complete required documentation and evaluations as part of the application process.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited PA or NP Master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program.
- National board certification as a PA or NP.
- Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.
- Eligible for DEA license.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
- ACLS may be required in some areas.
