About the position

The CCBHC-IA intern will assist the CCBHC-IA team in improving access to evidence-based services for behavioral health clients from diverse communities. Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking grant goals.
  • Gather information from clients and data entry per grant requirements.
  • Contribute to infrastructure development to support sustainability.
  • Participate in training opportunities.
  • Participate on a CHL committee.
  • Identify and carry out a special project.
  • Perform other related duties.
  • Comply with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Attend a variety of meetings, and trainings as required or directed.
  • Demonstrate use of quality improvement in daily operations.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
  • Respect diverse views and approaches, demonstrate Standards of Respect, and contribute to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, civility and acceptance toward all employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student must be in their 3rd or 4th year of completing a bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, public health, or related field.
  • Interest in health equity and serving marginalized communities.
  • Have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Able to effectively work alone, and as part of a team.
  • Available during business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) - number of hours per week are negotiable.

  • Experience working in a hybrid model with some time onsite and remote work from home.
