About the position

The Night Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor at Sogno Toscano is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in all night shift warehousing activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure efficient operations, including order picking, truck loading, and staff training. The supervisor will independently plan and execute nightly operations while optimizing delivery processes and addressing logistical challenges as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the night shift team, ensuring efficient order picking and truck loading.
• Plan, organize, and execute nightly operations independently, ensuring seamless workflows.
• Route and optimize delivery orders using Samsara (training provided if necessary).
• Maintain proper staffing levels and ensure the team is well-trained to prevent disruptions.
• Quickly address and resolve logistical or operational challenges as they arise.
• Drive key performance metrics in safety, accuracy, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate regularly with the VP of Operations, providing updates on performance and logistics strategies.

Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse operations experience (required).
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel (required).
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (required).
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.

Nice-to-haves

• Logistics and routing experience (preferred; training on Samsara provided for the right candidate).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
