About the position
The Night Shift Caregiver at The Gallery at Spokane is responsible for providing essential care and support to residents in a senior living community. This role emphasizes kindness, professionalism, and respect for residents' dignity and privacy while assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide great resident care and support with daily activities and personal hygiene.
- Answer patient calls and determine how to best help them.
- Ensure residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks within the community including janitorial/housekeeping duties.
- Respond to residents' needs overnight.
- Answer the phone and door, ensuring doors are secured.
Requirements
- Current certification/license HCA or CNA.
- Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Ability to work as a team and also independently.
- A love for seniors and a can-do attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Specialty training including dementia training, mental health training, etc.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
